Elaine Bousfield and her partner Steve, co-founded Xenzone. Elaine leads a team of therapists and counsellors in providing and managing cutting edge online mental health counselling. Elaine is an experienced counsellor and manager, having spent 15 years in the field prior to Xenzone. She spent six years as a counsellor working with sexually abused young people (42nd Street), two years as a Mental Health Community Worker, four years at Manchester Rape Crisis and three years as a Community Worker. Elaine represents Xenzone at conferences, workshops and think tanks on mental health issues.

Steve Donohoe co-founded Xenzone with Elaine Bousfield in 2001. His brief is to ensure that the ideas and aspirations of the managers and staff are turned into real projects that deliver genuine and measurable benefits to all of Xenzone's customers. Steve has extensive corporate board level management experience and has held senior roles with a large number of corporations, most notably General Electric from 1997 to 2005. "We are passionate about what we are doing and our long-term aim is to become the company best known for removing the barriers to achieving emotional and mental health," says Steve.
